The first real triathlon I ever did was the Bath County Triathlon in southwestern Virginia in June of 2005. I never wrote up a race report but it was a thrilling introduction to the sport that I now enjoy so much.

I came in 56 out of 126 male finishers, 14/27 in my 35-39 age group.
Swim (750 meters): 13:09

Bike (20 km): 40:47
Run (5k) + T2: 26:11
Total time: 1:21:13
I really had a good time, my family & friends told me I was smiling the whole time (as above)!
