I have been shocked to learn that some people have read my explanation for why I do not think my stress fracture was caused by my barefoot running, and yet are not convinced! Apparently I'm not as persuasive as I thought I was. Also, I don't think most readers actually took a look at any of the studies that I linked to, which back up the barefooting approach pretty solidly.
In any case, time will tell. And miles.
